WELCOME STUDENTS

The staff and teachers of St. Mark's Day School welcome you to a new school year. We look forward to a successful year. At St Mark's, we strive to promote and maintain high standards within a safe, educational environment by aspiring to respect God, self, and others.

At St Mark's, we are committed to the growth and development of the whole child. A commitment that begins with the belief that children are created in God's image and likeness. Therefore, you are special and unique, with the potential to live a purposeful life. Children are beings with minds that need nurturing, hearts that need affection, and wills that need strengthening in truth. Our staff helps to facilitate the growth of your God-given gifts and talents. In class, we remind students of their God-given potential and, in the chapel, they become aware of God's love and concern for their welfare.

Within the St Mark's family, we affirm that all people are God's children and are, therefore, members of God's family. As such, we invite you to strive to love and respect others as much as you love yourself. Seek to conduct yourself with respect, dignity, and humility at all times.

We invite your active participation and support in creating a positive environment as we help each other grow in good conduct. Our goal is to provide you, our students, with quality education. As part of the academic rigor, we encourage our students to find joy in learning and the fellowship of the student body.

In this community, we believe that learning begins with God's help. Therefore, we encourage you to become familiar with the school's prayer, pledge, motto, song, and rules that form the basis for our relations between and among all members of the St. Mark's Day School Community.

- Father Vitet, Headmaster
